Meet Magnus

Magnus Ndiangang is the founder of Project Solve LLC. He is an engineer and project manager with 25 years of experience across infrastructure, marine, energy, and industrial project development, with delivered projects in North America and Central Africa.

His career began in 2001 as a field engineer and QA/QC specialist on the Chad-Cameroon Petroleum Pipeline construction — a 1,070 kilometer cross-border energy infrastructure project. He later led the design and international bidding process for a World Food Programme-sponsored plantation infrastructure development for Del Monte Cameroon, covering the villages of Mussaka and Ekona.

Magnus's marine and port infrastructure career began at Chantier Naval Industriel du Cameroun (CNIC) in Douala as a trainee dockmaster. He has since managed dock construction and maintenance projects nationwide, with particular concentration along the Houston Ship Channel — including new-build dock construction, maintenance programs for existing marine infrastructure portfolios, due diligence for new facility acquisitions, dredging coordination, bathymetric surveys, and passing-vessel and mooring analyses using OCIMF and PIANC standards. He works regularly with the top marine engineering and marine construction firms in Houston and California.

On the energy side, Magnus served as project leader for a $2.5 billion refiner-grade renewable methanol plant development on the Gulf Coast, providing FEL 1-3 engineering leadership for a novel commercial-scale application of the technology. The majority of his energy career has been with a major US midstream energy company, where he has led or contributed to essentially every category of midstream and downstream project — pipelines, tank farms, truck racks, rail racks, marine terminals, and product transfer infrastructure across the US Gulf Coast.

Most recently, Magnus served as EPC Project Manager on two utility-scale solar developments for a major US electric utility — a 260 MW facility in Ohio (2024) and a 60 MW facility in Virginia (2025) — each including solar PV farm construction and substation interconnection. This work was delivered through a top US utility solar EPC contractor.

Magnus founded Project Solve to bring rigorous, honest project development discipline to owners and investors — particularly in Sub-Saharan African infrastructure and marine and port projects, where the difference between a stalled project and a delivered one often comes down to realistic cost, schedule, and risk framing early in development. He is bilingual (English and French), based in Houston, and works across North America and Sub-Saharan Africa.
